Christmas at the Holler: Food, Friends & Holiday Cheer

Come spend a little Christmas time with us at Holler Homestead in Lancaster, TN!

Every year, we get together for an old-fashioned Christmas gathering with good food, familiar faces, new friendships, and plenty of time to catch up. No speakers, no presentations, no agenda. Just an afternoon enjoying each other’s company.

I’ll be cooking something delicious to share, probably a ham or leg of lamb, and you’re invited to bring a favorite appetizer, side dish, or Christmas treat for the table. The more people who come, the bigger the feast!

If the weather cooperates, we’ll have a campfire going outside. We might even break into a few Christmas carols. Mostly, we’ll eat, visit, laugh, and enjoy being together.

One of my favorite traditions is that people bring a handmade Christmas ornament to add to my tree. Over the years, these ornaments have become a wonderful reminder of the people who make this community special. If you feel inspired to make one, I’d love to hang it on the tree!

Whether you’ve been coming to our gatherings for years or this will be your first time visiting the Holler, we’d love to see you. If you listen to the podcast or have joined us at a homesteader meetup, you’re part of the community, and this is a chance to celebrate Christmas together.

Come hungry, bring something to share if you can, and plan to stay awhile.
