Korean Beef the Easy Way

What do you serve a crew of GSD workers at the end of a project day, when you’re as tired as they are? Try this.

Korean-Style Ground Beef

Ingredients

2 tsp oil
1 ½ pounds ground beef
7 cloves garlic
⅓ cup soy sauce
⅓ cup sugar
1 TBSP sesame oil
1 TBSP ginger root, grated or 1 tsp powdered ginger
½ Asian pear, grated
1 tsp red pepper flakes
½ tsp pepper

Brown ground beef and garlic in oil.

Simmer everything in a crock pot for 4 hours.

Serve over rice, in lettuce wraps, or between halves of a sandwich bun, topped with chopped green onions.
